incremental backup without first file

Thread needs solution

Hi! I have files "***_inc_b1_s3_v1.tib" - "***_inc_b1_s55_v1.tib" in backup folder. Files with "s1" and "s2" in names are irretrievably lost. It can not be recovered.
initial volume of files is about 14 GB, but volume of files "***_inc_b1_s3_v1.tib" - "***_inc_b1_s55_v1.tib" is 22 GB.

Please tell me, is there any way to retrieve data from such backup? Or i can forget about it...?

Denis, welcome to these user forums.

Sorry but without the initial _full_b1_s1_v1.tib file for your incremental backup chain there is no method of recovering the remainder of that backup version. Incremental backups require that all files in the version chain be present and valid, as each file is based on the one before it, starting with the initial full backup file as the base file. As soon as one _inc_ file is missing from the chain, all further files are rendered useless.
