Install errors on both DD and TIH == Not feeling the love
Thread needs solution
Neither DD and TIH are installing.
System: Dell Inspiron E1705 Windows XP/SP3, 500GB SATA drive partitioned into assortment of NTFS, FAT, and EXT partitions.
DD: version 10.0.0.2239
TIH: version 13.0.0.6053
Downloaded today, 23-Jan-2010.
First, DD.... the install starts up, but I can only enter the first 30 characters of the serial number. The real number is much longer.
Then, TIH.... I get the dreaded "The installation was interrupted before Acronis True Image Home could be installed." I've followed a number of instructions posted here and elsewhere, including the Acronis cleanup utility. There are no Anti-Virus issues, and no user account issues.
