installation True Image Home 2011 failed in Windows upgrade form 7 to 8.1

Thread needs solution

I used True Image Home 2011 many years with Windows 7. After upgrading and making a clean Windows version of 8.1 I tried to install True Image Home 2011. First I get a message that the SSL connection cann't be made ( SSl 2 and SSL 3 is active) and when I started the installation ( the serial numbers are accepted) half way the installation is stopped.

Greetings,
Very simple answer. v2011 is not compatible with win 8/8.1. The user guide clearly states what OS's are supported. 8/8.1 is not. You might be able to use Acronis 2011 boot media to image a disk with 8/8.1 installed, but if the BIOS is set to Secure Boot or the disk is formatted something besides MBR, v2011 probably won't work.

Acronis True Image Home 2011 has been tested on the following operating systems:
 Windows XP SP3
 Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP2
 Windows Vista SP2 (all editions)
 Windows 7 SP1 (all editions)

Thanks for the quick answer.
