Installing ATI 2012 on New Computer

Thread needs solution

This question has undoubtedly been asked previously… but I searched this forum and couldn't find an entry that fit my exact question.

I purchased ATI 2012 online and installed it. I'm now getting a new computer (with the same Windows) but can't download a new install program (it is no longer supported).

I'm no longer concerned with the backups previously made – just want to be able to create new backups on the new computer.

What to do?

I probably have the download (usually save everything), but don't know the name of the downloaded file. (I hope I still have it, but is there any recourse if I don't).

Greetings,
What version of windows??? To advise you properly, and ensure the OS is supported we need this info.

You do not need to do anything with your old PC. All you need is your serial number.

Log into your user acct. at acronis.com. Don't have one... create it, its free.

Register your serial number if not already done. This will give you access to download the latest build of ATIH2012. Use this to install ATIH on your new computer. Do not install an older version then upgrade. Latest version straight away...

When you activate, the program will detect that you have installed Acronis with that serial number previously. You will be guided to transfer your license to the new computer. You'll need internet access to do this. The install on your old computer will become unactivated. You can remove it if you wish.
