Invalid serial number
Purchased Acronis True Image Home 2010 PC Backup and Recovery but am told serial number / code is invalid. Makes no difference whether I try 16 number online reg method or enter all 64 characters it is still rejected. Frankly Acronis software is always a hassle and I am very tired of wasting my time trying to install it. This retail version is a dvd purchased at best buy today. On the front is printed "Award Winning". Would get no awards from me. At any rate is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I bought a license for True Image 2010 Plus Pack and it doesn't recognize my key. Tried an online update and said "invalid serial number". When I try to install it says I don't have True Image 2010 installed. Guess I'll be finding out how good their customer service is.

I used the online chat help service last night and was given a link to an updated Plus Pack which corrected my problem. Customer service was pretty good in my case.

I have had the same problem today. Purchased 2010 Back&Rec from Best Buy and get invalid
serial number every time. Real drag on a product that is supposed to be efficient. Hope the product works better than the SN registration.

I have the same problem. Plus, it now tells me, when I try it again, that the install was invalid, please run install again. When I do that (install again( it takes me to the same screen. I'm now in a loop.

Oh dear - found the problem - ME!!!! I really didn't have TrueImage 2010 installed (bummer, grrrr).
I re-downloaded and installed it. The Power Pack installed quite nicely after that = YEA!
In retrospect, for us dummies, things would have been a tad less frustrating if they had told me that 2010 wasn't installed instead of telling me that the serial # was invalid. Oh well.......

Your going to love this. I was having the same problem, and couldn't get response from Tech support. I redid my registration and typed in the key by hand into Wordpad. I copied that into the registration and into the activate key area and all was ok. It may have needed that copy paste action????

I forgot to let all of you know that I got in to an online chat with Acronis and they helped me sort threw it all.
I don't know if your solution would have worked for me. I was doing a copy (ctrl/c) and paste (cntrl/v). The result looked just fine but Acronis didn't like it. Anyhoo, am glad that the Acronis chat folks got it going. No, I don't know what they did.

Same problem here (Invalid key) but it got worse. First it would not except copy and paste (Still won't) tried copy and paste to notepad, no good, typed it in three times still invalid.
