Hi MudCrab:

You said " You can either create it using TI ...." What is TI, please tell me?

Besides, what are the conditions for creating an Acronis account? --Zhao

TI = True Image

When you create an Acronis Account, you can register your products (TI, for example) and then have access to download updates and the ISO file.

Since you're posting on the forum, you already have an Acronis account. You need to log into it and browse to your products. If you haven't registered TI, you'll need to do that after you log in.

HJello MudCrab:

I downloaded a trial version of "Acronis True Image 2010" and is now testing it.
Can I download the .iso file for making the "Bootable CD"? If yes, how? --Zhao

You can't download the alternate ISO file for the trial version of TI. The only ISO file you can create is the one directly from TI. The ISO file download is only available for the purchased version of TI.

Hello all,

MudCrab is absolutely right, to download the ISO image from your account you need to purchase the software.

Yumin Zhao, I have send you a link to the ISO image for Acronis True Image 2010 Home Trial version, so you can burn it to a CD.

Please reply to this thread if there will be any additional questions.

Thank you.

I appreciate this is an old thread but didn't want to create a new one unnecessarily. Using my TI2010 Home boot disk does not recognise USB mouse/keyboard. This has previously not been a problem because I have just plugged in my PS/2 mouse/keyboard. However, I have bought a new motherboard and it is the first motherboard I have owned that has no PS/2 socket! So now I need my TI 2010 Home to work with USB. I have read a forum elsewhere that says a new set of ISO files for an upgrade version of TI2010 Home fixes this issue but I cannot find these files on the Acronis website. Can these ISO files be emailed to me?
Regards. Tristan Loring.

Login to your Acronis account, as discussed above, and if you registered ATI 2010 you'll be able to download the last/latest 2010 Recovery Media ISO.

However, ATI 2010 Recovery Media may simply not fully support your new motherboard and peripherals combination. 2013 supports a much broader range of hardware.

Tristan,

Also check to see if your BIOS settings include an option to enable "legacy USB" or "USB keyboard and mouse support" (this may be called something else). Older motherboards sometimes do not have USB mouse and keyboard support (during boot) enabled by default.

James

Thanks tuttle - I am downloading the .ISO files now (I eventually found where they were on my Acronis account pages). Will try again tonight at home. If you don't hear from me again, the assume it has worked and thanks again.
Thanks James F - I think the BIOS settings are okay because when initial Acronis screen boots up I can use my USB mouse to select True Image 2010 Home icon, but when ATI 2010 loads, it does not recognised USB mouse or keyboard. Hopefully using the latest .ISO file will work. Thanks again.
