Issue while trying to recover (Ti 2009)
Hello everyone.
I am having this issue while trying to recover from an image located on an HDD installed on a SATA to USB docker.
The destination is an 120gb SSD (Windows Installation) from which the image was created and it is connected internally via SATA.
All I need's to go back in time when that image was created.
I go to the image and right click RECOVER, as expected it prompts me that the it need to reboot in order to complete the process. The problem is that once it reboots it gets stuck on a black screen with: Loading Acronis loader….
nothing happens and stays there forever.
I then tried creating a bootable USB flash drive in order to boot from that, choose the image and do the process from there, the thing is that the SATA drive (installed in USB docker and where the image is) is not listed or found.
I don’t understand what is happening and I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks

Basically, when booted from the TI Recovery CD/usb, this is the procedure you would use in restoring a single partiton.

Or, for restoring the entire disk.

----------------------
Both the storage disk containing the backup and the target disk would be normally displayed.
If not shown via a usb boot stick, can you create the actual CD Recovery CD.
Being 2009, if the disks are new, drivers could be the issue. You may need to create a new updated TI Recovery CD.
The trial version of 2016 would enable you to create a new 2016 recovery CD which can only be used for restores,
but this is NOT an option for you as 2016 is not compatible with 2009 backups. Version 2015 IS compatible so a 2015 Recovery CD might be a possibility.
Acronis advertises they will help with recovey issues to it would appear if you continue to have disks not seen,
you should contact Acronis support and seek help with a "Recovery" issue.
