Is it OK to move the base of a Diff backup

Thread needs solution

I am using Acronis True Image Home 2010. I found the KB article about how to move backup files, http://kb.acronis.com/content/3886.

Is the following scenario OK?

1. I made a full backup.

2. Using the Windows Explorer, I moved the *.tib file to a different directory on another drive.
Note: I did not use the Recovery > Browse for Backup option to update the Acronis DB.

3. On the next day, I want to make a differential backup. In the backup configuration, I click Archive Location > Add to Existing Backup Archive > Select, and I browse to the *.tib file in its new location.

My questions are:

- Will the Diff backup work correctly?

- Does Archive Location > Add to Existing Backup Archive > Select update the Acronis database, in the same way as Recovery > Browse for Backup?

- Suppose I then want to move the backup again. Is it OK to move both the original *.tib file and the Diff *.tib file, provided that I keep them together in the same directory?

Thanks.
David
