Just need a couple items from the previous image file
True Image 2013
I performed a refresh on my wife's PC today, upgrading her motherboard, CPU, and RAM. Same case, SSD, and PSU. After the hardware swap, I installed Windows 10 Home, upgrading from Windows 7 Home Premium.
On my NAS is her most recent backup .tib from less than 24 hours ago. It's a full backup, not an incremental.
I wanted a fresh Windows install, so there was no plan to use the backup image, until I realized her Thunderbird installation had a ton of user created folders that were not saved or backed up anywhere. Plus, I somehow overwrote her .kdb file and lost a ton of recent passwords.
I'd love to be able to pull out the Thunderbird profile from C:\Users\Wife\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles, and of course that .kdb file. I've never had to use my backups. They've just been created every week for the last five years or so. As a result, I have zero experience actually utilizing the backups.
Is this possible considering the move to Windows 10 from 7? Is what I'm trying to do possible at all? Maybe asking for a human readable set of files from a complex backup is a tall order.
