Keyboard and mouse stops responding when booting from the rescue disk.

Thread needs solution

My keyboard and mouse stops responding when booting from the rescue disk. When it gets to the screen where you enter the file and drive information the keyboard and mouse stops responding. How can I fix this?. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.
This version Acronis home 2011. latest build. This on a windows 7 pc.

I have a similar problem. ASUS P8P67 Pro M/B, UEFI Bios. Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000, Wireless Keyboard 3000v2. When trying to use ATI Home 2011 or Disk Director 11 Rescue CD's, the mouse and keyboard are VERY erratic and cause all sorts of odd behaviour. To get control, I have to plug in USB mouse and keyboard, which isn't too convenient.

The MSoft mouse and keyboard work OK in BIOS pages., and without any problems in Windows 7.

Seems like the drivers in the boot CD's are bad.

Same Problem for me. After booting from downloaded image or created boot disk USB Keyboard and mouse stopping to work. Have already opened a Support incident but got no solution.

Have tried TIH2012 Build 6131 and 6154 and any provided option, with acpi, no acpi, BIOS USB Set to Legacy on and off, no chance.

Have an older 2010 Version and my USB mouse is working with this version, but still no Keyboard.

Issue starten with new Motherboard Intel DX79si - i think there are some drivers are missing in ISO Linux from bootable Disk.

World be nice if this issue could be sorted out as soon as possible.

Best and kind regards,
Roland

i have the same issue, no mouse or keyboard while booting to rescue media,

anyone find a solution?

hmm, I have ati 2011, and just installed a new ssd and made a
rescue disk. The usb kb and mouse work off the recovery disk, though
it takes a minute to actually use them.
Have you tried to make a current recovery disk ? I had an older recovery
disk and tried to use that first and I had no kb mouse, so I made a new one
and that worked ... win 7 64bit....
