Large Incremental Backups

Thread needs solution

My daily backups of my OS driver which is a 250GB SSD are taking up 60GB. The drive is 188GB full. In the past I remember that it was only ~10GB. Why is it so large now? I can no longer have the full backup be once a month becase it's filling up my 1TB backup drive. Is it supposed to be this large? Does everyone else have such large ones for their OS drives? I can't imagine that 60GB are being modified everyday. My projects are all on separate drives. This is purly an OS drive.

Double check you do not have anything relocationg data because what TrueImage includs in their backups is "disk sectors" which have moved.

If data is moved to improve its response time, that data is included in the incremental--even if no change in file data.

If you are going to relocate data, best to do before a full and not before an incremental.

I don't believe I have anything relocating data. I don't defrag my disk. Could there be some Windows setting that's doing this?

Do you have more than 1 internal disk? if yes, both are being included in your backup if your backup type is "Entire PC"

Some SSD's also relocate data to level out the usage.

I have 5 SSDs and the backup HDD. Only the OS drive is set for that backup. My other drive which I have an incremental backup on works fine and the backups only take up about 3MB/day.
