Larger new hdd for pc - how can i do a 100 % 1 to 1 copy from old hdd to new hdd

You didn't tell us what version of windows... but...

Current system:
Open Disk Managaement and take screenshot or make notes of your current disk configuration, partitioning scheme, etc.
Consider giving your partitions meaningful names (OS, Data, etc).

Create or download Acronis boot media.
Boot system from this and create a Full Disk Image Back Up
All partitions (hidden, reserved, OS, data, etc)

Shut down
Remove your old disk
Connect your new hardware
Boot from Acronis media again
Perform a restore operation
Restore each partition one at a time AND, in the order they were laid out on the old disk
You do not need to restart in between, just perform each step one at a time
This might be a good time to refer to your notes or screenshot of disk management as drive letters can and do change in the recovery environment
You can resize partitions to accommodate the additional capacity of the new disk on the fly if you wish

The layout on the new drive should mirror the old disk, but with larger partitions if you made changes.
