lengthy backup

Thread needs solution

I have 837 GB of 920 GB free = 88GB.
For boxes to be backed up, I checked those which were presented to me, i.e., NTFS, FAT 32, and NTFS recovery.
Before installing the latest version it took me 16 minutes to back my system up and now it takes me over an hour.
I use a full backup once a week with normal compression which is the default.
I have 6 GB RAM.
Is there something I have done to cause such a difference in time?
I went from Acronis True Image Home 2010 7046 to 7154.
I created a new rescue disc and can view my backup ok in My Computer.
What could account for such a jump in time to backup?

I agree the 7154 now takes 3-4 times as long to backup. Also I don't like that they changed the default of date+time for the image name. I am thinking about going back to the earlier version as it is taking much to long to create the images.

but then I do know that I won't update my other copies to the latest version.
