Less free space on destination cloned disk

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have two identically sized SSDs.  I have just cloned one to the other.  When I use File Explorer to check the properties of the two disks these are the results:

a) Source Disk - Used space: 95.2GB, Free space: 16.1GB.
b) Destination Disk - Used space: 101GB, Free space: 9.9GB.

How can this be??

Geoff

Geoff, the only real way to check what is causing the difference in used space between your two SSD's is to use a tool such as TreeSize Free and compare where the extra space is being shown as being taken.
