License question for TI 2013.

Thread needs solution

Hi.

I have a question about the True Image 2013 license.

I have multiple copies of 2013. I want to use one of my copies on my work PC. I want to make sure the license for TI 2013 allows this. It is a work environment, however the software will only be used to backup the local machine, to a local internal hard drive. I just wanted to make sure this doesn't qualify as 'commercial' use. The PC is only used by me. It is domain connected, but there wouldn't be any domain use of TI, only local pc backup.

I'd rather use acronis, but the built in windows backup (windows 7) will do what I want if needed. Is this allowed by the license, or are people forced to buy backup and recovery in order to make local backups of workstations?

Thanks.

Hello Ryan,

thank you for your question!

I'm glad to let you know that you can use True Image 2013 by Acronis even at work. The license allows it.

The only thing, you should pay attention to, is that Acronis Backup and Recovery 11.5  is more business-centric. If you view your computer as a business tool and the machine's downtime is a critical parameter, then Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Workstation will probably suit you best.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
