[Linux] Acronis doesn't add schedules to crontab

Thread needs solution

I installed "Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Linux" on CentOS(release 4.7 Final).
It worked and I can use app to schedule tasks in the X-windows.
But task doesn't run when schedule time is up,nothing happen.

I use command "crontab -l" and see nothing.
In theory,Acronis should add schedules to crontab, right?

Please help, thanks in advance!

Hello,

Let me assist you with this situation.

First of all, please make sure you use the latest build of the software (3883).

You can download all necessary files from Registered products and downloads section in your account.

If you have not registered your product on our web site yet, we recommend to do it in order to receive free updates.

- Choose Product registration
- Enter the serial number for your Acronis product in the corresponding field.

Also please clarify, have you tried to run the same backup manually? What happens in this case? It will help us to localize the issue and determine whether it's related to the scheduler or not.

I use command "crontab -l" and see nothing.

Yes, you are 100% correct. As you know, all scheduled operations in Linux perform via crontab.

Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
