List of backups vanished , but are still there.

Thread needs solution

I went to run a monthly backup , and to my surprise , ATI 2014's list of backups is empty . There should be 5 backup tasks showing in the window . ATI 2014 still see's the Acronis Secure Zone , which is on its own separate 1 TB drive. It can mount the images on the Secure Zone . But when I click on Backup and Recovery tab , it is empty . If I click on Add backup , I can browse the backups that are there , but it DOES NOT ADD THEM TO THE LIST !
This essentially makes it impossible to do a scheduled backup because it no longer "sees " the backup plans . What is more , it now won't create any more backup plans . It will let me create a backup plan , and run that backup plan . But once I reboot , that backup plan is gone as well !
I can see the backups from the bootable disk , so making restores is possible , so that I'm not worried about .
It is just that with this issue , I cannot do automatic differential backups ( which is what I needed ) . I can only do one time full backups.
Has anyone else had this issue ? Is there some way to force ATI 2014 to rebuild the list of backups ? I thought I had exported the backup plans to a 3rd drive , but it doesn't seem to see them now.

I have the same problem. My backup disk is full so I wanted to remove some versions but the Disk Recovery List is empty. I can see then in Windows Explorer and the Acronis Browse for Backup. They will not add to the backup list. Until I remove some of the backups and rerun a full backup my system is at risk.

I may be misinterpreting your problem but I ran across what I consider a "similar" situation and sent out an SOS comment on this site. Since I probably didn't state my problem correctly, the replies that I got did not help.

Basically my problem was and as understand yours to be also, was that when I opened the "Backup and Recovery" tab I would only get a screen with no backup list. However, a couple of days ago I was clicking here and there and when I clicked on the "STAR" symbol in the "Backup and Recovery" tab... the list of all my backups magically appeared. I clicked on it again and they disappeared. Clicked on it again and they appeared. So this is basically an on/off switch!

Like I said, I don't know if this is or if it solves your problem but take it for what it's worth.

Best of luck.

I am assuming that your comments do not relate the the Secure Zone backups and you are are discussing files outside the secure zone.

It would help to see a screen capture of your storage folder where all the tib backups are stored.
Sort the display into "View/Detail" mode so the tib files are listed in date/time sequence.

It might also help to see a capture of your main menu listing of tasks.
