Thread needs solution

Hello all,

I have been using True Image recovery boot media and it has been working find for many months. Recently when I select the image recovery tool (instead of the reports) it starts to load with the following verbose information:

Loading please wait...
no raid disks
Reading all physical volumes. This might take a while...
no volume groups found
no volume groups found
no volume groups found
/bin/lpwn1chd: error while loading shared libraries: 11bnet.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
/bin/avahi - daemon: error while loading shared libraries : libavahi -common.so.3: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
Setup AVD devices

Then it starts to boot into the next screen (blue screen with mouse cursor) then reboots. I have also tried to load into the reports to see what went wrong but that also did the same reboot.

I have tried the memory stick in another system (Dell this time aside from Lenovo) and the same error happened. I then tried a different memory stick and same thing happened. I then attempted a re-insall of True image to create a new boot media, but that also failed, including burning it on a CD. I also downloaded the Bootable CD that Acronis provides when I log in, still failed.

I then tried a co-worker's 2012 version and it works like a charm, no issues. I am at a loss. Anyone encountered this? Any solutions?

furthermore, since the 2012 works, can I use my 2013 license key towards the 2012?

Vanessa,

Which build of 2013 are you using?

Have any changes been made to your hardware? As the recovery CD has been working and suddenly having problems, this would tend to point to a hardware problem.

Has anyone changed your BIOS to AJCI mode instead of IDE perhaps?

Hello Colin,

Thank you for the reply! The version that I am using is 6514. No one could of name any changes to the BIOS as it is password and only I have that password.

I have the BIOS set to AHCI mode as it always been. I have switched it to compatibility mode for a test (IDE is not a selection) I tried the reboot and it failed still.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you,
Vanessa
