Location of Acronis files is wrong

Thread needs solution

Hours I keep trying and I cannot make a backup. It is looking for the wrong drive F: and the external HD is now on E:. In settings I changed it and yet it looks only for F: and it stops after few minutes saying there is nothing there. It cannot find file or filder so make sure storage device is connected and again it is look for F:
I cannot change the drive from E: to F: and I cannot do a backup.
Can someone help?

It looks for F: because you created a backup task specifying F:.

You should assign a fixed drive letter to your external drive, high in the alphabet (e.g. V) to avoid its letter changing.
Windows Disk Management | right-click the external drive | Change drive letters and paths.

While there, you should also add a recognizable label to every partition, so you can uniquely identify them without the drive letter.
