LOG folder rapidly growing!

Thread needs solution

-
I have been unable to find an article or forum posting that will help me understand the entries in the LOG folder (not the log entry content, but the purpose of and the source the log entry).

I understand the 'service' log entries, but some others are rapidly filling and increasing the size of the log folder, and hopefully the unnecessary ones can be controlled!

The 'NSB' entries I was able to stop by disabling the non stop backup service, which I don't use.

The 'monitor.log' item keeps growing with multiple daily additions of entries containing the line:
message="Sync Agent service error. Try to restart your computer."

The 'console' log entries (multiple daily) all contain the line:
message="OnlineBackup is not logged in." Line_tag="0x54350D6C7652374E".

I don't use either of these functions, but haven't found a way to stop these LOG folder entries. Did I miss some options during installation to add or not add these functions? If so I will uninstall and reinstall and pay attention!!

UPDATE...
I found the sync agent service (don't know how I overlooked it before -- working too hastily I guess) and disabled it. I expect that will stop the multiple daily entries in the monitor log.

Still need a way to stop the many, many OnLineBackup messages in 'console' log entries discussed in the previous post, if any knows and can share that information.

Thanks, much.... Bob

Hello Robert,

there is no special option to stop those entries. It is a designed behavior for now.

However, I've forwarded your feedback to our development team. Thank you!
