Long Load Time

Thread needs solution

When I start the program the Acronis window pops right up. Then it takes about 15-25 seconds before the program will respond - you can't do anything untill it does [get the little revolving wait circle]. The program seems to work fine after it does respond although when I click to backup drives and partitions I get another long wait time.
The program was not doing this when first installed. Not sure what happened.
I have uninstalled and ran the cleanup tool twice and then reinstalled but get the same thing.
Any ideas?

EDIT: Using Win 7 - and the revolving wait circle is the windows, not the Acronis. It shows the program as not responding

Once in True Image try disabling 'search for updates', but in your case has there been any W7 updates or other software updates applied recently?
