lost backed up archive files

Hello
I have a big backed up that is splited into a smaller archive files, the problem is I have lost a dozen of the archive. esp the beginning of it, and I am not sure if the last one is still there or not.
is it possible to extract the files from them, as many files as possible?

The only way to extract the files from the backup is to explore or mount it. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that image will be successfully mounted or explored without some pieces of it, but you can anyway try it.

You can find more information about exporation and mounting of the image in the User's Guide, chapter 17, p.136.
