Made image and stored it on a ethernet drive. Can not seem to find the folder to retrieve it.
I read the directions to make a backup and choose to make the clone and store it on the Maxtor drive on the Ethernet network. I did not have the burner setup at the time and I could not find a thumb drive large enough to download it.
Anyway I have created both of the recovery disks and they boot with no problem.
However in the drop down where you choose your clone folder, it does not let me get to my F: drive that is the Maxtor external. This does not seem correct since you should be able to import the folder from anywhere and restore the cloned image.
With the past releases of Acronis I ran on Win XP it worked fine.
Burnt the image to 3 disk. To large to fit without splitting it up.
Imported the image and it rebuilt without a problem.
Any ideas, this is ridiculous that they only let you have 30 days from the purchase date for your tech support, this is six months later and I finally have time to work on this. I thought I had my image so I was safe!!
