MBR/GPT and Unallocated Disk During Clone Attempt

Thread needs solution

I have a new internal hard drive that I want to clone. The new drive is in an closure.
This is on a Windows 8 machine.

Starting the ATI Clone Tool, it asks to make/use MBR or GPT. After a short amount of research, I select MBR and continue.

Next it says I have to initialize the new disk, which I manage to do, now the new drive/disk says it's unallocated.

I try the Clone Tool again, now it says for Source: disk 1 and Destination: disk 2.

Earlier the source was disk 0, and destination disk 1 as it should ( I think ).

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for your time.
