Migrate RAID 1 OS to SSD Step by Step

Thread needs solution

Current System Setup:
Motherboard - MSI 790FX-GD70
RAID Controller - AMD SB750
SATA Port 1 - Optical Drive
SATA Port 2 - Empty
SATA Port 3 - 1 Tb Hard Drive
SATA Port 4 - 1 Tb Hard Drive
SATA Port 5 - Empty
SATA Port 6 - Empty
2 x 1 Tb Hard Drives in RAID 1 (Partition 1 (C:) - Operating System / Partition 2 (D:) - Programs and Data / Partition 3 (E:) - Backup Archives)

I would like to move Partition 1 (C:) from RAID 1 HDD to SSD and have my system boot from SSD.

I have Acronis True Image Home 2012 and Disk Director 11.

Any help would be much appreciated.

In theory, you could use the Universal Restore feature to restore the image of the RAID1 to your SSD. That feature comes with the Plus Pack purchase. Universal restore is not an easy process, but it is often the best alternative to a full reinstall. http://kb.acronis.com/content/2149

If I were you, I'd take advantage of my new SSD to reinstall Windows in a fresh install.
