Monitor timing error using OEM build 10045 boot CD

Thread needs solution

One of our customers is trying to use the Acronis boot disk (build 10045) and gets a timing error as shown on attachment and then can't go any further.
The same boot disk on the same computer worked with another monitor here at the factory.
Is there a fix/workaround for this?

Update: this appears to be due the use of a low grade VGA extension cable and the fact that Acronis was using a high enough screen resolution that the monitor could not sync. Problem solved by using a high grade cable. A short term workaround was to use vga= command line to specify a lower resolution for Acronis (use F11 key after bootup screen).
