Most Optimal Network Setup for Recovery of Images?

Thread needs solution

I'm having trouble figuring out the most optimal network setup to allow recovering images over the network. Basically, creating the image and saving it on the network in the first place is very fast, take about 15-20 minutes to do the entire image around 15 GB, but the RECOVERY of the same image to the same hard drive, same hardware, etc is VERY SLOW.

Takes 2-3 hours to recover the same image that it took 15-20 minutes to create and push out to the network drive.

My current setup/procedures are as follows:

- Images stored on shared NAS on the network (public folder)
- I use the USB boot and run the Acronis True Image software from there to are push to the NAS on the network and they work very fast
- When I use the USB boot and run the Acronis True Image software in the exact same configuration to restore the same image, its EXTREMELY slow...

What can I do to improve this speed? I'd rather not use the attached external drive enclosure option, I think the network option is way cooler...

Thanks! BTW, I think the software is pretty awesome, very versatile!

I also should mention I'm using a Solid State Drive for the imaging, so perhaps that plays an issue...

I've heard that its fast to read from SSD's but writing to them is slow...is it that slow? Could that be the bottle neck?

Thanks!
