Mount Image
I have been doing regular backup but became aware of some extremely negative user reviews of ATI 2015. I thought I must check my backup images. I then noticed the old "mount image" and the "check integrity " utilities seem to have evaporated, or am I missing something. Is there any way to check other than to do a restore which would be a) risky or b) a pain to setup a surplus hd. Any help ?

Further to my own answer. Browsing another post , I saw that just double clicking the backup tib file opens the images in windows explorer for browsing etc.
Much easier , works well, don't know why nobody pointed it out. Thanks

Inside the TrueImage main menu, you have a listing of your backup tasks. If you RIGHT click on any of the tasks names which contain backup,
you are provided with the "Validate" option. This "validation" option is also available via the TI Recovery CD.
The "mount image" option can be accessed via RIGHT clicking on the tib file (inside Windows Explorer) , and then open the TrueImage listing to access the mount option.
Here is some material to help with the learning curve--since you asked "don't know why nobody pointed it out".
The help file for 2014 is here.

Thanks Grover, used to be in tools . Looks like the "validate" takes as long as the backup. Noted that the hd containing my backups is attached to my router usb port and Acronis requested "Credentials" for my router. Strange since it ia a mapped drive on my pc and I just browse it with explorer.
