Mount a .tib directly from Windows Explorer

Thread needs solution

I'm using Acronis 2014. My old Acronis 2009 had an option to mount a .tib by a right click on Windows Explorer. But 2014 doesn't have that. Is there an option I can set to allow that?

Yes, the right click option is still there. Right click and look for the listing of Acronis.
Once inside the acronis list, you can choose the mount or validate.

Have your every tried just double clicking on the tib file and exploring the backup file from there without the need to use the mounting procedure.

I figured out the problem ... The item "True Image" is not on the explorer context unless you click the gear icon (settings) then click "Integrate True Image into Windows..." then add a check mark to "Shortcut menu commands".

Then right click on the .tib, select "True Image" then select "Archive" then you will see "Mount".

The "Mount Wizard" should appear. In the "Mount Wizard" you can set the drive letter or just click "Proceed". To unmount, right click on the mounted drive, select "True Image" then select "Unmount'.

Note: If it doesn't it could be behind other windows (apparently Acronis did not use the ALWAYS ONTOP option to display the window).
