MountImage - can't even see tib files....
I'm tired of being a beta tester for Acronis..... and paying for the experience...
If I click tools->mountImage it automatically gives some incomplete backups list... If I click browse, I can navigate to I:/images where there are 10+ tib files. Yet I cannot see one of them, when I click the + on I:\images, nothing.... even if I tell it to show all file types, nothing. I can see the tib files using the Windows Explorer file manager, but nothing using "Browse" in ATI.

Colin,
My copy of ATI is purchased on line from Acronis.
No problems with any other software.
Chkdks is good.
I've installed v10 using the method here
http://forum.acronis.com/forum/5908
Doing a full backup now, working fine. I'll try to restore the c: drive image to a spare hd using the v10 restore boot cd and if all goes well, I'll stick with v10.
I'm also evaluating other imaging software. Win7 is TOO slow and the files are HUGE.
So far TotalRecoveryPro looks very nice. Trialing it now. Paragon was too slow.

George,
Files are huge? What size is the drive, and space used?
What compression level are you using?
Is Sector by Sector by ticked as an imaging method?

I have exactly the same problem (Win 7 home 64bits). When I want to mount an existing image, I do not see my tib files when I browse in the "mount image screen" of TI2010.
In win explorer the files are there.
In TI2010, I have to browse the right folder and as TI2010 doesn't see my tib files, I have to put it myself (cut/paste or keyboard input) AND THEN everything is going well.
I have not other strange things on my computer but only with TI2010 !

Eric, I gave up on TI2010. I reverted to my old copy of v10 using the instructions someone posted. Works very nice. I've done backups and full restored from the recovery disk.
So I have v10 installed on my win7 x64 Ultimate install. I do use the v2010 recovery disk, as it's significantly faster than the v10 recovery disk.
I will no longer purchase any Acronis products though. I am tired of *PAYING* for the product only to find it's still a "beta" version with numerous problems. In the past I purchased an upgrade and gotten a refund twice due to problems with their "beta" versions. I bought v2010 a number of months ago for a new win7 laptop. When I recently upgraded my desktop hardware and OS, is when the v2010 reared their ugly head.
