Multiple PC's
I just purchased a copy of True Image Home 2012. If I install and register the CD on one of my PC's, is this the only PC I can make a backup of the hard drive?
Thank you.

The reason I bought this was to back up the data on my hard drive that has XP. I want to format the hard drive, possibly add a newer larger drive and install Win 7 x64. This will not look like the same machine as far as I can tell and I won't be able to restore my data to the new disk. Is this true with a standard license?
Thanks
George

George,
You are OK. You will be able to restore your XP system even on a different disk. On a different computer, that would be a different story.
Remember that if you restore a partition or a disk, the target partition or disk will be erased completely.

Thank you. It sounds like I'll be OK.
I was just wondering when a computer ceased to be "the same machine". A new motherboard?
thanks

That is certainly Microsofts definition, I think Acronis' is slightly looser.

Multiple PCs:
I purchased Acronis 2021 Family Pack for three computers.
I have one hard drive for my computer backups.
Can my three computers be backed up to the same hard drive? Will Acronis overwrite backups from different computers? Or do I need three separate hard drives for my three computers to be backed up to?

Donald, welcome to these public User Forums.
The best advice I can offer to you is to create separate folders on your backup drive, one for each PC that will use it for backups, then try to use clear & obvious backup task names that will avoid any chance of generating files with the same names from more than one PC.
Example: all backups from PC 1 have names that start 'PC1-....' etc.
