My backups are always full, not incremental?

Thread needs solution

I created a full backup of my drive, and oddly some backups I create have a "BACKUP" button.
Others do not, and I can't make any incremental backups of those at all.

I tried modifying the backup settings, from version chain to custom - > incremental.

Even though there is already another FULL version it simply takes 20+ minutes and makes another FULL, even when being told that I wanted a incremental backup.

I have never had any troubles with 2010, and it seems I must be doing something wrong.

So I have a few questions to ask:
How to make the "Backup Now" button appear on all backups?
How do I make proper incrementals?
How come I can't make an incremental if the "Backup" button is not showing?
If nonstop backup is incremental based, how comes my PCSX2 savestates, which are 17 megabytes consistently stack and cause large amounts? Is it because the hex changes completly in the file or is incremental is completely borked for me?

Here's an image of the NO BACKUP button:

Here's an image of created 2 full backups, even though I stated custom -> incremental; version chain doesn't even seem to work!

Just so you know, I'm making the incremental by clicking the BACKUP now button, if it's even there!
