My bad experience installing & using ATIH2011 build 6574

Thread needs solution

I purchased and downloaded Acronis True Image Home 2011 and Power Pack on a special deal for both direct from the company website on Cyber Monday. I experienced no trouble with the download until I attempted to install ATIH2011 as an upgrade over my existing version ATIH2010 program which had been working normal up to that point. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on my computer. At the completion of the install, it came back with an error message, that the new program did not install successfully. Tried one more time to reinstall with same results. Next, I uninstalled all traces of my old version using Revo Uninstaller which also removes all references in the registry associated with the application. This time ATIH2011 installed properly with an immediate update to version build 6574. After updating to build 6574 and rebooting I tried using the new program. It came up with numerous errors. It listed some of my backup drives not suitable for backup because they were not formatted as NTFS, which is false. Almost all features listed under Tools & utilities and Try & Decide were not accessible. The error messages said that it failed to initialize the snapshot manager library. Again I deleted and reinstalled ATIH2011 with same end results. This time I contacted Tech Support through their website, that was two days ago. They returned with a case number, however I have not heard from anyone since to get me some help resolving this issue. I researched the Forums and Knowledge Base and discovered that many users of build 6574 experience various troubles. During my search I came across an Acronis Uninstall Utility which I used for the first time to once more uninstall 2011. I reinstalled ATIH 2011 Plus Pack again and this time it worked like it should. I also noticed that instead of updating itself to build 6574 it installed build 5519 as the final update. This version cleared up all troubles I mentioned above.
My opinion is, that a program which has been rated as one of the best for backups, Acronis should test the reliability more thoroughly before releasing a particular build to the general public or monitor their websites better so that questionable builds are not being offered for download. Also, technical support leaves a lot to be desired after making a purchase. End of story!
