My first experience with Acronis
So I've bought 2 new SSD disks from Crucial as they stated you also get a copy of Acronis True Image HD.
Great! In the box from the SSD there was a little note that said I have to go to www.acronis-com/en-us/promo/tihd-download and download the software. So I did.
There was also a 16 digit short key to register, so I installed the program and clicked on the "I have only short key" and got directed to a website where I had to fill out my name, email and so on. After completing this I got an e-mail with a registration code.
This works great, or so I thought, but the code didn't work. I tried to see if there was a version mismatch, but couldn't find any other versions then the one provided in the link (Acronis True Image HD 2014).
I tried to reply to the e-mail asking for help, but that e-mail doesn't go anywhere. So I logged into the site to connect to support and choosing from menus what software I was having problems with I got the message that I had support until april 2015, and that the Acronis True Image HD 2014 was no longer supported. I didn't get any other options to submit or contact support with this.
So I post it here.
Seriously: THIS SUCKS BIG TIME
How do you expect to get potential new customers when you treat ppl, even if it's OEM versions like this?
So I downloaded the latest version of the software (Acronis True Image 2015) that I could find, but my registration number i got doesn't work there either.
