My installation has lost its activation
This problem has just shown up.
On the Get Started tab, at the bottom, I am getting a red error message:
Activation required! All operations except recovery are unavailable.
Choices are given to enter the serial number and to activate now
I choose the serial number I was sent and it won't work. This is a family pack and I have another machine that IS working just fine.
I choose "activate now" and I get a pop up that says: Too many activations. I have two options: Deactivate one of the previous installations and Enter a new serial number.
Clicking on Deactivate one of the previous installations, gives me a web page that says: Sorry, your request cannot be processed. Entering my serial number, the activate button does not activate.
There is NO way to contact Acronis with this problem. It seems as though product support has run out.
I'm pretty upset about this. I've been so frustrated by Acronis registration issues. I pay for all of the software I use and I've had so many issues with activation. I'm tempted to move to something else.

Is the computer with the problem connected to the internet? If not this can cause TI to be unable to 'phone home' and it can think it needs to be activated.
The only way that I know of to immediately solve the problem at hand is to deactivate the machine and then reactivate it.
If it is due to the PC not being connected to the internet, the simply connecting to th einternet will solve the problem.

Yes, I am connected to the internet. I'm posting these messages on it.
How do I deactivate the machine? It doesn't seem to be activated.... it is pestering me to activate it.

You can de-activate the license assigned to your system, and re-activate it following the instructions in this post:
