Nag Screen
As promised new nag screen, new thread. Since my time is obviously not worth anything to Acronis I decided to squander some of it following the link on the nag screen. Imagine my surprise and delight to learn that it was an opportunity for an "Amazing Offer!"
I can save 50% and enjoy unlimited cloud backup.
Ok, I don't want it. I don't have to "decide later" I have decided now in the negative. You can pop that screen up another 50 times and I'm still not going to want it.
I just want the nag screen to go away. A simple customer request that should have a simple solution. It doesn't, on the face of it, even seem to be an unreasonable request.
C'ya next nag screen, Acronis. Have a great Thanksgiving.
For anyone contemplating using this product I would like to point out that I submitted a polite, non confrontational post on this topic in this forum over six weeks ago. I PM'd an individual that represented themselves as an Acronis employee that made a desultory reply on one of the other threads on this topic.
I have received zero response for a simple problem. This, I feel, is emblematic of what you can expect if you choose to use this product.

Hello,
I apologize for any inconvenience.
In fact, we currently have an ongoing promotional campaign, which is why you are receiving the pop-ups.
You can disable them by clicking on the exit button.
Please note that, at this time, there is no way to completely remove them.
I have forwarded your message to the team regarding this situation, and hopefully, in the near future, we will have some news.
Best regards!
