Network adapter does not work when booting from recovery CD

Hallo,
i've an Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard with an Intel 82579v network adapter integrated on it.
When i boot from recovery cd the network adapter is not recognized.
Is there a way to use it from the recovery cd?
I use Acronis True Image home 2011 build 6597.

I have an Asus P8H67-M EVO with Realtek NIC. TI 2010 boot cd didn't work for me but 2011 build 6696 does work. You might want to try the newer version.

You could also try a WinPE boot disc and put your drivers in it. I've done that too and it works as well. At first look it seems rather daunting but it's actually pretty straight forward. If you follow the instructions in this thread you should be good to go: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/19969. You can ignore my comments in that post about long restore times. It turns out that was a separate issue unrelated to the boot disc type.

I'm waiting for build 6696 to be released in italian.
