Hallo,
ich habe mir True Image Home 2010 gekauft und wie bei der 2009er Version die kernel.dat und die ramdisk.dat auf einen tftp-Share gelegt um meinen Linux-Rechner hiervon booten zu können.
Dies funktioniert soweit.
Eine Backup-Erstellung scheitert, da Acronis meldet, dass es lediglich eine Demoversion sei, dies stimmt jedoch nicht, ich habe das Produkt gekauft.
Die Fehlermeldung tritt unabhängig davon auf, ob die die kernel.dat und ramdisk.dat von der mitgelieferten CD verwende oder vom erstellen Rescue Media.

Hat jemand eine Idee?

Oh sorry, since this page is linked from inside the german customercenter I thought, that this forum is in german, too.
So here's the english translation:

Hi,
i bought Acronis True Image 2010 and wanted to boot it (like with True Image Home 2009) from network. So I copied kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat onto a tftp-share.
The booting itself is working quite well.
A creation of a backup isn't successfully at all because True Image complains that it is a demo version but I bought this product.
The error message is the same whether I use the kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat from the delivered Disk or I create a rescue media from the rescue media builder and use the ramdisk.dat / kernel.dat from the created iso.

Issue has been resolved.
Acronis support sent me a new bootable iso and I used ramdisk.dat and kernel.dat from there and now it's working. ;)
