Never activated, but "Too Many Activations"
Background: I purchased two copies of ATIH 2011 and installed and activated them on two XP systems. No problems. Then upgraded both to ATIH 2012. On the first system, I reverted to 2011 (I forget why - it was a while ago). On the second system, when I tried to activate 2012, I got the too many activations msg. Thinking that I had possibly used the same serial no. as I had used for the uninstalled version, I tried to replace it with the other serial no, and have the same problem - it says "Too Many Activations, You have exceeded the activation limit for this serial number (1).
So I have TWO 2012 Serial Numbers, and ZERO functioning 2012 applications.
Thank you for reading through my tangled text.

I am *terrified* of this activation procedure with 2014 premium. It seems so random whether or not I'm prompted to activate. And while activation, so far, has been quite and painless, I don't *ever* (listen to me on this, Acronis) *ever* want to get a "too many activations" notice. Why? Because just 5 minutes ago I opened the program, activated (why it asked I have no idea), it worked, then I closed the program and reopened it 10 seconds later, and it asked for another activation. Clearly, this is a buggy implementation -- as no hardware, no nothing was changed. It was 10 seconds between an opening, activation, closing and reopening. Moreover, sometimes I do turn off an external USB drive (I have more than one) which seems to necessitate reactivation. Anyway, I'd appreciate comments from anyone who thinks I'm being paranoid about this, or otherwise. I know Acronis wants to avoid piracy, but of course fully licensed users don't want to have to jump through circus hoops to accomplish that end for Acronis. We paid. We deserve a program that functions without these constant activation notices.

I have used many iterations, but currently I have no more active programs due to replaced computers, etc. I have a windows 7 computer that I am trying to activate 11.5 on, but it never accepts my license. Says it is not valid for some reason. Any thoughts? Below are the license activation keys I own, under two different emails/user names. I ended up with multiple versions of 11.5 because I could not get anything to work on my win8 pc a couple years ago. Help would be appreciated!

PepC,
Are the serial numbers for AB11.5 showing up correctly in your Acronis account?
Are you using the licence manager for 11.5?
Just make sure you don't have any True Image installs on the PC as AB11.5 either won't install or won't work correctly.
