New Forums Stink!
The old forums were much better than the new ones. These stink. For example:
(a) There is no easy way to locate the posts I have created to see if there have been any responses. If I go into MyAccount, there is no way to see these.
(b) Searches do not work well. I created this post <http://forum.acronis.com/forum/3686> just a few minutes ago. If I search for "internal laptop", my post is not returned in the results. These words are in the post's title in this exact order. How come they are not returned. What's the problem here?
(c) Searches, even when performed within a specific forum displayed, return results outside that forum. When searching within the TI forum, some of the results are from the Backup and Recovery forum. Not helpful at all.
Forums like these are common on the internet. I cannot understand how Acronis can have something so sub-par.
IMO, searching on the old forum was a piece of junk - better to let Google search that forum, don't know if it works on this one.
I am getting more annoyed by not being able to tell which posts I've replied to. Yes, the email thing tells me but somedays I answer several posts and I get emails galore clogging up my mail system. I don't want any emails, this PC doesn't even have email setup. I want to know about things when I'm logged in. I am actually starting to lose interest in participating.
The bread crumbs or whatever need to be at the bottom of the page too.
yep this forum software is not what you would call good. I am in the uk and it is very slow and sometimes i can't connect at all. I can connect and see all of internet no prob, seems this forum either goes slow or off line, not sure. Wilders was far better. So get the act together Acronis please.
