No Acronis Icon in System tray

Thread needs solution

I discovered some changes from one computer were not synced to aonther computer. On the computer which was missing the sync update I noticed there was no acronis icon in the system tray. I supposed the updates did not occur because acronis did not start on a restart of windows.

I did have an error on a backup a while back because the acronis secure zone was too small for the backup. I have since deleted the backup and recreated a backup to a nas drive.

When I run acronis I still get no icon in the tray. How do I make sure acronis will start when windows starts, get the sync icon in the tray and make sure my changes get synced?

Thanks

Greetings,
Not sure which version of windows you are running? In general, the the Acronis system tray icon usually relies on two things to display. The TI monitor.exe and if using a newer version of windows, that the tray icon not be set to hidden. This is a configuration setting you can find by selecting properties (right-click) off the Start menu button. You might be having another issue, so have a look and let us know what you find.

I actually have the opposite issue with True Image Home 2012 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit -- I customized the system tray to hide all for Acronis but it displays it anyway. How do I make it stop? It is not in my startup menu nor is there any setting on Acronis that allows me to toggle it. Thanks for any help.
