No Disks or Partitions
Hi all,
Just upgraded to 2012 on Windows 7
I may be just being a bit thick today, but when I choose Disk and Partition Backup, There are no disks or partitions listed in the drop down box. The destination drives are all listed, but there's nothing in the source box.
Any ides what I;m doing wrong?
Thanks for any help.

This is what you should be seeing.

As you say you upgraded to 2012, there is a possibility that the snapman and new fltsrv drivers haven't installed properly.
Try running the installer again and select 'repair install'. This is assuming you are running standard Sata/IDE disks and they are not in a RAID configuration.

Hi Colin,
I tried doing a repair install, but it crashed my PC. I then tried to remove it completely, but just as it got to the end of the uninstall, it flagged up an error and rolled back to where it was before I started.
It took me several attempts to get it removed. Then when I tried to do a fresh install, it wouldn't accept the serial number of my previous version. So I have had to reinstall Version 11 to see if it will now allow the upgrade again.
If it doesn't work right this time, it'll be going in the recycle bin. Life's too short for this crap.

I reloaded 2012 but there was still no disk detection.
I had another search on the web and found what seems to be a solution. I found an Acronis KB article which suggested a driver may need to be replaced. Something like snapapi. After downloading and installing this, I can now see my PC drives in all modes. I have yet run a full back up, but at least I can see the drives this time.
For anyone else who is having this problem, here is a link to the page where I found the solution. The download link is about half way down the page.

I have downloaded the program you have recommanded (http://kb.acronis.com/content/1515) with the name :snapapisetup651.msi
and now all drives are present in the source box.
