No keyboard when Booting from the Recovery Media (Plus Pack)
Hi,
I purchased today a license for ATI Home 2011 + Plus Pack. I downloaded the recovery media (plus pack version) from my account, booted from it, my Raid 0 drives were correctly detected, also the mouse but not the keyboard. Mouse and Keyboard are USB devices, connected to USB 2 ports.
When it has booted, I can press any key, nothing happens. The rest seems to be just fine.
Is there something to do to solve this ? Thanks.

Thanks. Will try Legacy USB BIOS off.
I found something strange : when using the recovery media (CD) I typed F10 at the first boot screen, afterwards I was able to use the keyboard, but no longer the mouse, only in keyboard-driven mode. It's a bit cumbersome but at least it works. When it's just for a recovery I guess it is OK.
Also, good news, my USB3 external drive is recognized perfectly.

Also, check the BIOS and see if the Legacy USB support option is enabled. If it is already enabled, try it disabled.
Hi again,
I have just changed USB ports for keyboard and mouse, and .... it works !!! And even my USB3 external drive is seen. That's great.
Thanks a lot for your help !
I have a new minor issue : the boot CD detects the backups I have made, but when I try for instance to validate them, I get a file not found error, when I just fetch them manually it does work however. So it's not a blocking issue, just an annoyance.

Yes, this annoying bug/issue exists but it is easy to work around it as you discovered.
