No network available on rescue media with PCI-E Intel Gbit card

Thread needs solution

I am using a Intel Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter on PCI-E slot.
When booting from recue media CD, there is no network available.
Not only a specific network-share is missing, there is no network-item !

Only when using/activating the "on-board"-LAN (maybe Realtek-chip) everything works fine
It seems that Intel-card is not recognized on PCI-E or there is no driver.

Test with rescue media from TI2010 was also negative :-(

Hello n8active,

Thank you for using  Acronis Products

First of all please make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products. The latest build of Acronis True Image Home 2010 is 5055.

Please download ISO image from your account under Registered Products and create Acronis bootable disc using third-party software. ISO image is based on different loader which has more embedded drivers, it will certainly solve the issue you experience. If not please let us know.
