Non-Stop backup calculating for 12 hours

Thread needs solution

I started a Non-Stop backup last evening. That was about 12 hours ago. It's still calculating. Is that normal?

I waited about a half hour after posting and tried to cancel. It gave me a few errors, caused the whole program to abort and when I started it back up it said there were already 6 versions. Looks like it had actually been backing up after all. Anybody know about this? Obviously telling me it's constantly calculating when it isn't, is a problem.

Steve,

Do you have any other heavy disk usage programs running in the background?

Make sure your defragger is off. If this is running when a backup is in progress it will slow things down to a snails pace and cause other problems as it will be rewriting your disk contents whilst NSB is trying to snapshot them.
