Non-Stop Backup Corrupted

I have got this twice and the backup is corrupted and unusable.
Non-stop now reports a size of zero.

I think this occurs when windows 7 x64 crashes.

I have to format the partition and start non-stop over again.

I am running 2011 update 1 (build 6597).

Given this is backup software, it should be transaction-ally sound and should not get corrupted when windows crashes else whats the point in having the backup?

I was forced to uninstall ATI (and reinstall) because the non-stop refused to work even after reformatting the backup partition. I am turning off the windows disk write caching policy hoping this will stop ATI from corruption.
