Non stop backup - moving files

Thread needs solution

If I have a lot of files that are rather large and I want to move them (I have been running non stop backup for a while now), am I better off:

1.) Moving the files and letting NSB detect the changes and add them to the backup
or
2.) Moving the files, and then going in to NSB and deleting the old location?

If I do 1.) rather than 2.) will the NSB backup size remain the same, or will #2 give me a smaller result?

Thanks,
John

I've not used non stop backup but what should happen is that when you move the files NSB will detect the new files location and back them up. The files in their old location will remain as such until the period (up to 30 days prior) for your particular backup time span is over. You can also go back in the time span of the NSB and delete the files from the old location to free up space if you wish.
