Non-Stop Backup Size - double of Backup Folders

Hello,

i´m looking quite a while for this topic, but no solution or similiar problem found.
My Non-Stop backup (Time Explorer Storage) is double in the size of the folders which are backed-up. Is that normal? Should that be like this?
