Non-Stop failing - "preparing" then "stopped"
Hi folks, looking for any advice you can give on this one.
Issue: non-stop works Ok for a few days after creating a backup, then appears to stall before stopping altogether. This has been tested over a range of loads, seems to make no difference.
History/observations below.
System: desktop Win7/64, Intel i7, 12GB RAM. All backups are to Seagate 3TB USB3 drives. Build 6613.
History:
1. 18 July- ran an initial backup (trial version). Worked fine.
2. 22 June: swapped to using non-stop with a fresh 3TB external USB3 drive. Worked Ok for a couple of weeks. (consumed 1.4Tb on that disk.)
3. Purchased full version, end June
4. 13 July: problems...
- problem with taking a manual restore point (win7 System protection). Timing out. Error 0x81000101
- Acronis non-stop failing "started and preparing to backup" for approx. 30 mins, then "...stopped"
- manual restart makes no difference
14-21 July: behaviour persists
21 July: installed build 6613. No change in behaviour.
22 July: deleted the non-stop job (retained files). Created a new job which completed OK the next day
23, 24, 25 July - worked OK
31 July - 2 Aug: non-stop stopping again.
