Nonstop Backup Error Message in True Image 2010

Thread needs solution

I have 2 computers both of which have 2010 installed. On one, a laptop with Win 7 and 2 GB RAM, it works fine. On the other, a desktop with Vista Professional and 2 GB Ram, it runs I specified one partition to backup with some 3 GB of used disk space. It ran to about 75% and stopped. At the same time, I received the attached Windows error message box.

I have found a similar thread that deals with this problem and have posted the above information and more to it.

Hello b legs,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

First of all please make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products.

If you have installed upgrade version of Acronis True Image Home 2010 above previous version of Acronis True Image Home please completely uninstall Acronis True Image Home 2010 and then use the following KB article to delete all traces of the program, see here Then install Acronis True Image Home 2010 from scratch.

If the issue persists I would recommend you to open a new support case using this link and attach the following diagnostic information:

- Reproduce the problem (application crash);

- Do not close the "Application has stopped working" window;

- Run Task Manager (press Ctrl-Shift-Esc buttons);

- Go to "Processes" tab and right-click on the crashed process;

- Select "Create Dump File" item from the menu;

- Pick up the .DMP file created and send it to us;

- Open Start->Run (or press Windows-R buttons) type "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive" string without quotes and hit Enter key

- After that you will see a folder (or a few folders), the name of which starts with "Report"

- Please send us Report.wer file from the last created folder

Please note that you may add the two collected files into rar or zip archive file.
